Ok - I am hooked. I think I am going to have to use this a lot more - both to find new books to read and to keep a record of books I have enjoyed.
I really like the way Kingston Library have incorporated Library Thing into their catalogue. An interesting way for their customers to find books they may like to read.

Tagging
del.icio.us is amazing. I have heard people talk about it but never actually given it a go. Within a work environment, the possibilities would be endless. No more having to scroll through mountains of favourites to find that one site you know is hiding there.
The most obvious use for this would be for reference staff . Having a resource like this to not only access their own favourite resources but an endless supply of others would help us deliver better customer service to our patrons.
I will return once I have had a better look..........................and started my tagging.

RSS Feeds
I discovered RSS feeds a while ago - and I am hooked. I have a gadget on my desktop that scrolls through all the feeds I have subscribed to. I feeds on soccer coaching, tv shows, local news, favourite authors - the list goes on........... Very much a case of information overload. I just can't keep up!
I subscribed to this blog a while ago - Libraries Interact - which has links to Aussie library blogs - both personal and corporate. The info is endless and very easy to get lost in.
